In 1987, Scott Olsom, the founder, was introduced to a small independent dairy distributor in Oroville, California, who sought to enhance customer service by finding software for the new PCs to optimize his operations, which led to the creation of PACE; originally developed in RM/COBOL for MS-DOS and Xenix-based PCs, PACE has evolved to operate in the cloud, written in C# .NET and hosted with Citrix, and recognizing that many customers also required IT support, we expanded our offerings to include this essential service.
